Crush The Devil’s Head

Yesterday was one of those days. We fought spiritual battle after battle left and right. Tommy worked for weeks on a real estate deal that fell apart at the closing table. I dealt with one spiritual toe stubbing after the next at the store and in the ministry. Not to mention, the venomous coral snake that was sitting outside our door in the morning just to taunt us. 
By the way, I will NEVER not have outdoor cats, ever again. Our sweet cuddly cats are warriors at this farm. We thank God for the decapitation this snake faced when he met our little front porch laying angel kittens. Ain’t no snake, lizard or mice coming near my grands if our cats have a say. 
It made me think of Genesis 3:14-15
“So the Lord God said to the serpent,” Because you have done this, “Cursed are you above all livestock and all wild animals. You will crawl on your belly and you will eat dust all the days of your life. 
And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and hers, He will crush your head, and you will strike His heel.” 
Come on somebody, that is good. Ain’t no heel striking that can withstand a head crush! 
Our Jesus took full authority and victory away from the devil and gave it to us! He is “under our feet” like this discusting snake was, (before it lost its head! Thank you Kitty)! 
All of Satan’s kicks lately amount to nothing when I think about what God is doing in the ministry. We just opened our second store. We just opened our second distribution center for our food pantry. The hungry are getting food, the poor are being clothed and the widow and orphan and single moms and their kids are being cared for. Oh, and our store is cute too. They are getting some cute places to come to for help and as long as I’m in leadership at Unforsaken they will be treated with love and dignity and told how precious they are to God. 
Oh yes! Good try devil. You are under our feet!
