Best Drive Ever

Yesterday Eli and I drove to the beach to babysit for a couple grands to give Mommy and Daddy a little time to themselves. It was about a 2 hour drive, but the time went so fast.
I told Eli I would drive on the way there and he could drive home as this old girl can’t see a dang thing at night. You’re welcome y’all! I know my limits.

Anyways, driving there was not only quick, it was Spirit filled.

Eli played navigator and DJ while I drove. He pounded the Elevation Worship, Brandon Lake and Maverick City, one song after the next. We finished off the drive with a little CeCe Winans…. Let’s just say the anointing was flowing between home and Palm Coast.

As songs would play, I would say, “Eli, do you know what he means by “dead things come alive?”or “graves to gardens?” and so on…

As the music played I would say, “That’s in 1st or 2nd Kings” or “That’s about Ezekiel!” Or “Look this one up.” Eli would look up scriptures and read them and we would worship along with the Word!

I said “E, true worshippers worship in Spirit and in Truth!”

We would sing and worship allowing The Holy Spirit to speak to us as we meditated on the

Words sung knowing they are taken straight from the Bible.”

As we drove on, God kept dropping things in our Spirit to say and talk about. We just kept thanking Him.
It was powerful.

I had to keep fighting back the lump in my throat as we sang in thankfulness.
I heard God say “Don’t you love that your son loves talking about me?”
I was like…..”YES!!!!!!!!!!”
He said “So do I!”

Then God showed me something powerful I’ll never forget.

We were on I4! Traffic was steady and going about 70 miles an hour. I was in the middle lane, and two tractor trailers came up on either side of me. There was a white van I was following at a safe distance behind. This went on for a while.

I was worshipping and driving and God said “Just keep looking straight ahead. Follow that van….. I kept going.

God said “See these big rigs on each side.” “Yes Lord!”
He said “You have no idea how often angels are standing like this next to you. They are protecting you. You just look straight ahead.”
Lump in my throat!!!!!!!!

Ya’ll…. The days that The Word comes alive so real in our Spirits…..are the days we allow Him to move and have first place!

We could have listened to a podcast, or some country music or talked about everyday life.

But, instead, we let God in on the road trip yesterday.
And Wow!!!!!!!! Dead things came alive in me.
The Word is alive!
Worship is powerful.
Angels are everywhere.
True worshippers will worship in Spirit and in Truth.
Soak in The Truth of God’s Word everyday so God can use it to speak to you!
